The Plant Shop Edition & Task Check

The Plant Shop demo is the first night of the game and nothing more: Day 1, about 10 to 15 minutes. The itch.io page says so at the top, and it still carries a note that the full game is out with a launch discount.

In that first night you learn the whole loop: take an order from a customer, craft it from a pot, soil, a seed and water, and serve it. The picture has the VHS look the developer describes as an emulation of old CRT screens, and customers start talking about the curse that struck the town 30 years ago.

The demo has been around since before launch. The game took part in Steam Next Fest in June 2026, and players were already posting demo feedback on the Steam forums that month.

The full version on Steam carries the story past the first night to one of three endings: Good, Bad or Secret. It also has 9 achievements, each with a global unlock rate on Steam.

Story, Relaxed and Endless mode

Story mode follows Silvia's dream of running a successful plant shop. Relaxed mode lets you manage your shop at your own pace. Endless mode asks you to prepare orders and survive as long as you can, and it has a leaderboard. In the first days after launch, players were already talking about the top leaderboard scores and asking how the modes differ.

Price and languages

On Steam it costs $4.99. During the launch discount it was $4.49, a price the developer also quoted when calling the game cheap and short. The interface supports 15 languages, including Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Demo videos stop after the first day, and several of them were uploaded before the full release. Anything a video shows after Day 1 comes from the full game, so check the upload date and whether the title says demo before you follow it. Launch-week videos that show every ending run from about one to two hours.

Playing on a Mac, Linux or Steam Deck

The Steam page lists Windows, macOS and Linux. Before launch, a player asked for 64-bit support because the Mac build only covered older 32-bit Intel machines. On launch day the developer replied that a full macOS build supporting Apple Silicon and 64-bit was up.

On September 20 the developer announced that the game is Steam Deck Verified. To load a save made on a PC, the developer suggests launching the Windows version with Proton on the Steam Deck.

The store lists the same memory needs on every system: 8 GB of RAM at minimum, 16 GB recommended, and 1 GB of storage. On a Mac the minimum processor is listed as Intel 2.6 GHz or better; on Linux any processor is listed.

PC system requirements

The game is light. The minimum graphics card on the store page is a GTX 750 Ti, and the whole install needs 1 GB of space.
